Three young theatre companies from Lisbon come together to stage Our Town, a classic piece of experimental playwriting by Thornton Wilder. Thanks to a metatheatrical device, a stage manager shows us the streets and people of Grover’s Corners, a fictional small town in New England in the early 20th Century, with compassion and irony. Yet this very specific portrayal can be a way of approaching something universal: the human experience of time; everyday life, love and death.
