The Humanization 4tet is a group formed in 2008, led by guitarist Luís Lopes, along with Rodrigo Amado and the Texas-born brothers Aaron and Stefan Gonzáles. Carrying references from free jazz to blues, punk and metal, the Portuguese-American quartet energetically performs music that ranges from melodic verses to noise, from improvisation to composition.
