Histories of Experimentalism – Mickery Theatre: a theatre machine

Mike Pearson is Emeritus Professor of Performance Studies at Aberystwyth University in Wales. He has been a professional theatre-maker and performer for fifty years, working internationally, mainly in the fields of physical theatre, and devised and site-specific performance. In this presentation, Pearson traces the ways the Mickery theatre nurtured successive waves of experimental and innovative theatre practice.
