In this first encounter of this series with the presence of the authors, the focus falls on the book Djidiu – the inheritance of the ear. Djidiu is a collection of poems in which the authors of the texts write about the experience of being black in Portugal. This book is the result of an initiative by Afrolis, which between March 2016 and March 2017 encouraged black people to actively participate in the production and dissemination of texts they themselves created or by authors they considered relevant.
