Cândido Lima

In its 13th edition, for the very first time, Rescaldo festival collaborates with TBA, an organisation dedicated to the experimental and that it is conscious of structural sub-representation within the arts. Thus, this collaboration comprises the debut of two concerts. The first is a celebration and tribute to Cândido Lima, one of the pioneers of contemporary Portuguese music. The second challenges four pertinent creators of new national music to work together: André Gonçalves, Maria da Rocha, Violeta Azevedo and César Burago.
