Audio description as a performative tool

Audio description in dance presents a diversity of questions, seeing that it is itself abstract. What vocabulary should be chosen to describe the visual references, the movements, and the complex actions? Curated by dancer and choreographer Ana Rita Teodoro, a programme of conferences, workshops and gatherings is presented, aiming to hint at the possibility that auto-description in dance can be conceptualized as a research project between artist, audio-describer and the audience in question.
