Amador Savater – Is revolution still desirable?

Michel Foucault asked himself this question in 1977. And added: “politics is a field opened by the existence of revolution, [and if revolution is no longer desirable] politics is in danger of disappearing”. Without referencing or accommodating the possibility of social transformation, politics has returned to a mere management of what exists. How can we reopen this cancelled field? Are catastrophes like the coronavirus essential modifiers of our imaginaries of change?
